The Discovery Institute

I always thought that the rejection of evolution was mostly linked to Christian groups. However, the Discovery Institute, made up of non-religiously affiliated scientists question the theory and have since published books and essays stating their reasons. They have also signed the Dissent From Darwinism List, which states:
A Scientific Dissent From Darwinism
"We are skeptical of claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged."

You will find the list to be over 700 names long and growing of scientists from the US National Academy of Sciences, Russian, Hungarian and Czech National Academies, as well as from universities such as Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and others.
